Job Description:
As the QA Automation Architect / Lead SDET, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the financial domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products, leveraging your expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and automation framework development.
*Responsibilities:*
- Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable automated testing frameworks tailored to the financial domain.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of automated test suites using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and other relevant tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test automation opportunities and define automation requirements.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of financial software applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality automation code.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers on test automation techniques and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation and quality assurance in the financial domain.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation in the financial domain.
- Strong programming skills in Java and experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies.
- Experience with automation framework development and customization.
- In-depth knowledge of financial industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Agile, or Selenium WebDriver.
