Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Montgomery AL (Onsite from day 1)

Position Description
For this position, we are looking for an individual experienced in the testing of new software in both the pre- and post-release stage of the development life cycle. They will be responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs. Documents all problems and assists in their resolution. Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
Skills Required
Read system requirements and build test cases
Document the specifications, design, features and operation of applications
Developing and executing software test plans, use cases, test scripts and scenarios
Writing and editing user manuals, help with system documentation and other technical documents
Working experience of MS SQL
Reproduce bugs, that is either user reported or have been found during the testing cycle
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Document testing procedures and organize test activities
Execute test scripts, reporting daily on the progress and defects
Experience Required
3 to 5 years of quality assurance and business process documentation experience
Ability to work independently and also being a good team player.
In depth knowledge of and proven track record in software testing life cycle
Ability to write MS SQL scripts.
Good communication and documentation skills
Education Required
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience.
