Job Description Summary

Analyze quality standards for components, materials or services. Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology and other procedures that ensure that quality standards are met. Apply quality principles, analyzes quality records, prepares reports and recommends improvements. Conduct inspection, verification and validation of components or materials used in development processes. Identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures. Document quality issues and performance measures for management review. May liaise with external vendors. Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and one to four years of experience.

Proficient in RCCA methodologies
Experience with Lean Six Sigma
Advanced skills with Excel, SAP, and Tableau
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Proven ability to prepare and present presentations at all levels
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of desired outcomes
Ability to drive and monitor continuous improvement
Proactive in collaborating and leveraging interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong relationships, internally and externally
Maintain a defined prioritization methodology to determine patient level of urgency and induction into the Clinic

Record, track, and ensure follow-up of all Clinic Patients & actions initiated within the Quality Clinic system and escalate as needed

Perform data collection, data organization, analytics, and reporting utilizing data and information from a variety sources and systems

Identify improvement opportunities for top driver defects with targeted reductions in SRR & site-liable escape metrics

Launch new CARs, lead the cross-functional Corrective Action Team meetings, and drive investigations to determine the proper RCCA owner

Guide cross-functional participants through root cause analysis & methodologies and influence Corrective Action Plans

Follow-up with RCCA Owners and Action Item Owners, press for on time submissions, and escalate as needed

Serve as Quality Assurance's focal for Corrective Action Plan approvals, implementation verifications and Measure of Effectiveness verifications from the cross-functional teams

Create Corrective Action Plans when QA is the RCCA owner and assist in implementation

Execute QA owned Action Items

Present Corrective Action Plans, implementation objective evidence, and Measure of Effectiveness to the Correct Action Review Board for leadership approval and CA closure when applicable

Conduct internal Process Evaluations, report findings, and initiate CAs

Foster a culture of risk identification and mitigation

Positively contribute to team success

Maintain applicable skills, knowledge, qualifications & certifications as required

Perform other duties and tasks as directed

Preferred Qualifications
ASQ CQE
ASQ CQA

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Experience with project planning and execution
Experience in datamining and analysis of large sets of data
