Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months Contract

Responsibilities:

  • As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building cloud solutions using your expertise in Cloud Architecture, Design and Build.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure and provide technical guidance and support throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Your primary skill proficiency must be in Cloud Design and Build following the well-architected framework.
  • Proficient and hands-on in using Advanced AWS Cloud services (EKS/ECS/Athena/Glue/Sagemaker) including core services like VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda (Python) and AWS Load Balancers for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.
  • Good working knowledge of AWS networking components as VPC peering, TGW, route tables, subnets, direct connect
  • Develop and maintain cloud platform architecture patterns to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Should have 8+ years of strong professional experience in the IT industry with a focus on cloud computing, containers, DevOps, SRE and platform engineering
  • Skilled in developing reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate complex IT tasks across various environments.
  • Adept at designing, implementing, and managing scalable and reliable Kubernetes clusters. Proficient in automating deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and managing infrastructure with Terraform (IaC).
