Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, code, and test systems with a focus on maintainability and meeting end-user needs. You will adhere to technical standards and contribute to the evolution of these standards while demonstrating strong teamwork, communication skills, and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, code, and test cloud-based systems with a long-term perspective on maintainability and end-user requirements.
  • Adhere to and actively participate in the evolution of technical standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating strong communication and coordination.
  • Utilize analytical thinking concepts and techniques to solve complex problems.

Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another major cloud provider.
  • Proficiency with command-line tools in Cloud and Linux environments.
  • Working knowledge of Hashicorp Terraform and GitLab is a plus or familiarity with similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing, and configuration management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings to achieve objectives and resolve issues.
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and ensure others do so with minimal oversight.
  • Basic understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, .NET, etc.) and experience integrating multiple tools via APIs, command-line interfaces, etc.
  • Ability to identify basic programming constructs in unfamiliar languages.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
