Job Description
· Administer and support LUW (Linux, UNIX, and Windows) environments, including installation, configuration, and patching of operating systems.
· Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and backups to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
· Monitor system health, security, and performance metrics; identify and resolve issues proactively.
· Perform capacity planning and manage resource allocation to optimize system performance.
· Support mainframe applications running on LUW databases (e.g., DB2 LUW, Oracle, SQL Server).
· Install, configure, and manage databases on LUW platforms.
· Perform database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting.
