The DC Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a strong Microsoft Power Platform Developer to assist the MPD IT with its overall goal of "Working together to organize and mobilize residents, merchants and professionals to improve the quality of life for all who live, work, and visit the nation's capital" This is an opportunity for a developer with keen interests in emerging technologies to bring their skills and creative thinking to building applications to empower MPD to continue to support the residents, businesses, and visitors with a safe and enjoyable experience in our nations capital.
Required Experience:
Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer, with a focus on Model-driven applications.
In-depth knowledge of Power Pages / Portal development.
Proficiency in creating, customizing, and optimizing Power Apps solutions.
Strong understanding of data integration, manipulation, and visualization using Power BI.
Ability to automate business processes using Power Automate.
Experience in optimizing Canvas Apps for performance and responsiveness.
Hands on experience with Microsoft Dataverse and its integration within Power Apps.
In-depth knowledge of Power Platform administration, including environment management and security configuration.
