Job Description
Client is looking to accelerate their cloud migration efforts for legacy stacks currently on-premises. The scope of work will be spread across three different tracks to include DevOps, Site Reliability and Development services. All the tracks will integrate into Client's internal development, performance, SRE and infrastructure teams in working through the migration of the applications within scope. Some applications in scope may be migrated as-is, while some may require re-development to enable their migration to the cloud. The ideal partner will work collaboratively with Client's core teams to deliver the greatest impact and efficiency.
Sr. AWS DevOps / SRE Engineer
- The Senior AWS DevOps/SRE Engineer specializing in AWS migrations will lead the project's critical migration efforts.
- This role involves comprehensive lift-and-shift and re-platforming strategies, managing and optimizing AWS resources, overseeing the design, implementation, and performance of AWS services, as well as ensuring application reliability throughout migration.
- Key responsibilities include orchestrating containerized applications, utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure as code, troubleshooting migration-related issues, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of AWS DevOps/SRE experience with migration projects
- Expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
