ABDS, Inc. is currently seeking for a Junior Redhat Linux Engineer.

 

Position: Junior Redhat Linux Engineer

Location: Remote.

 

Technical Skills required:

  • Red Hat Linux, DB2 on a working Level;  (know and write Linux and Bash commands, db2 SQL statements, at least one resource with STRONG TWS System Level Knowledge and other resource must have a good working knowledge of TWS.
  • monitoring all alerts for space, CPU, memory, file systems and take action.
  • Receiving USH tickets and letters from TechDev and taking action daily (ex of actions copy jobs into production ready files and run jobs xyz,....)
  • And for VMMS - Mainframe knowledge for VMMS (for what is left on MF)
  • Creates / manages all the Alert systems/tools in Linux.
  • Creates /manages the tools that Track ALL of the Metrics including SLA metrics.
  • Monitors UB Capacity for space, CPU, memory.
  • Mainframe knowledge for VMMS (for what is left on MF)
  • Need to be available to be online within 10 minutes for a Production Outage.

 

Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
