Job Description :
The Loan IQ Technical Lead will join the Commercial Delivery team and be part of ongoing delivery initiatives to onboard clients to the Loan IQ platform. This role partners extensively with the application vendor while leading the technical team to successfully address business process needs and improvements on large and complex implementation initiatives spanning multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a technical team, assigning work, mentoring, and training junior engineers.
  • Own and influence the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, testable code independently; perform code reviews for all levels of engineers.
  • Design solutions for overall health, performance, and availability; actively resolve system and client experience impacts.
  • Advocate for improvements.
  • Partner effectively across the organization with business and technology colleagues.
  • Ensure proper security standards for code development.
  • Create technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts.
  • Identify and develop potential standards and best practices.
  • Propose high-level application platform architectural guidelines.
  • Formulate and design technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate implementation and communicate effectively.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in IT, with experience in multiple technology platforms and complex implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Java programming language and data structures.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Strong knowledge of writing and analyzing complex SQL queries.
  • Ability to provide solutions for complex commercial lending problems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience with LoanIQ APIs and application knowledge.
  • Understanding of LoanIQ workflows, rules, and data model.
  • Background in the commercial lending industry.
  • Ability to work in a team and support team expansion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of code migration tools (Git, JIRA).
  • Strong understanding of LoanIQ architecture, APIs, and SDK.
  • Experience with LoanIQ installation and upgrade, Batch Net, and Batch Configuration.
  • Experience working in large-scale technology delivery initiatives.
  • Experience with Apache Tomcat.
  • Core Java experience.

Optional Qualifications:
  • Experience with GCP and containerization.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Xquery Language on LoanIQ.
  • Experience with LoanIQ Data Conversion Tool (DCT).
