Understand business processes
o Identify master data management needs and translate them into functional specifications
Document data governance
o Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of master data by documenting data governance rules, data quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate
o Work closely with SAP MDG Solution Consultants and Architects to design solutions that meet business needs
Bridge the gap
o Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
Advisory and Strategy Development:
o Understand business needs and objectives related to master data.
o Develop and implement MDM strategies that align with client goals, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
o Recommend industry best practices for managing master data across multiple domains (e.g., customer, product, supplier, financial). |
