We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, POS (MPOS) & .NET Consultant for an immediate requirement. The ideal candidate must have strong technical experience in .NET technologies and SQL, with the ability to understand existing applications written in C# for troubleshooting and business requirement analysis.
When there is no .NET work, the consultant’s expertise will be utilized for D365 F&O POS development. Candidates with experience in X++ and .NET technologies will be a great fit for this role. Preference will be given to local candidates to avoid travel and accommodation expenses.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform D365 HQ enhancements (code fixes, configuration) and regression testing.
  • Deploy and support MPOS, HQ, and CSU for changes, fixes, and upgrades.
  • Provide MPOS (frontend) and API interface support, including customizations and future enhancements.
  • Support D365 HQ interface with the client’s Revenue Accounting systems.
  • Execute MPOS upgrades, enhancements, and mass deployments across the store network.
  • Configure and troubleshoot POS setup, including printers, customer displays, scanners, hardware stations, and MPOS.
  • Oversee testing and release management processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for issues and create/update technical design documents.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations, scope, and risks effectively.
  • Work in a multi-vendor environment and support onsite-offshore global delivery models.
  • Travel as needed for project requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience leading and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce/Retail support projects.
  • Hands-on experience in D365 Commerce / AX 2012 Retail implementations and support.
  • Expertise in rollouts, deployments, and upgrades.
  • Experience in code/fix push to POS (MPOS) and store migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of SLA-based support and incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with Finance & SCM domains and industry best practices.
  • Excellent client interaction, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues, propose solutions, and manage them effectively.
  • Flexible with work hours and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
  • This is a client-facing role requiring a team-oriented and customer-focused consultant with exceptional technical and communication skills.
