Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join our IT team, specializing in video engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations management, with a focus on optimizing processes and ensuring the smooth functioning of video engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the video engineering department, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of video engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure all video engineering outputs meet the highest standards.
Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Reporting: Provide regular operational reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the IT or video engineering sectors.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with video engineering technologies and software. Proficiency in operations management tools and software.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a track record of successful operational management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based video processing and streaming technologies.
Knowledge of video compression standards and codecs.
Certification in Operations Management or a related field.
