Responsibilities:
Understand Azure cloud offerings and create detailed solution architectures that effectively utilize these services.
Manage and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to support containerized applications.
Utilize GitLab and CI/CD practices to streamline and automate deployment processes.
Engage in hands-on engineering of Azure services throughout the development lifecycle.
Automate the provisioning of environments using Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools.
Manage Azure subscription costs, implementing best practices for cost optimization, policy management, and governance.
Collaborate with multiple operations and engineering teams to effectively productionize solutions.
Deploy and configure infrastructure using various DevOps tools, ensuring the implementation of workloads and robust security measures on Azure.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including making presentations and producing technical documentation.
Requirements:
You are:
Strong understanding of Azure cloud offerings and capabilities.
10+ years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and managing container orchestration.
Proficiency in GitLab and CI/CD methodologies.
Hands-on experience in engineering Azure services during development.
Experience in automating environment provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
Knowledge of managing Azure subscription costs, policies, and governance best practices.
Ability to interact and collaborate with various operations and engineering teams.
Familiarity with deploying and configuring infrastructure using DevOps tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for technical writing.
It would be great if you also had:
Relevant certifications in Azure or DevOps methodologies.
Experience with advanced Azure services and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
