Sr. Servicenow Developer/ GRC Consultant (Governance, Risk and Compliance)

Position Description:
The Sr. Servicenow Developer/ GRC Consultant (Governance, Risk and Compliance) is responsible for delivering all facets of governance, risk and compliance professional services delivery and sales support.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop an understanding of the needs and requirements of GRC tool end-users.
  • Research and evaluate available GRC technologies to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare use cases to justify the need for specific GRC solutions.
  • Define project scope and objectives based on customer requirements.
  • Assist in developing cost estimates for new or modified system(s).
  • Present technical information to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Conduct formal and informal coordination for gathering business and functional requirements in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of priority business and functional requirements.
  • Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of configurations in GRC system
  • Write detailed functional specifications that document the architecture development process.
  • Develop and document requirements, capabilities, and constraints for design procedures and processes.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Translate proposed capabilities into technical requirements.
  • Conduct risk analysis, feasibility study, and/or trade-off analysis to develop, document, and refine functional requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate with systems architects, as needed, to provide oversight in the development of design solutions.
  • Trace system requirements to design components and perform gap analysis.
  • Build, install, configure, and test GRC tool as per design finalized.
  • Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models.
  • Install and configure database management systems and software.
  • Install and configure hardware, software, and peripheral equipment for GRC system users in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot GRC systems/servers.
  • Integrate GRC systems into existing network architecture.
  • Monitor and maintain GRC system/server configuration.
  • Oversee installation, implementation, configuration, and support of GRC system components.
  • Develop GRC software testing and validation procedures.
  • Develop test plans to address specifications and requirements.
  • Document how the implementation of a new GRC system or new interface between systems impacts the current and target environment including but not limited to security posture.
  • Develop and direct system testing and validation procedures and documentation.
  • Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Provide support to test and evaluation activities.
  • Record and manage test data.
  • Test and evaluate locally developed GRC solutions for operational use.
  • Test internal developed tools and techniques against target GRC tools.
  • Test, evaluate, and verify hardware and/or software to determine compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot prototype design and process issues throughout the product design, development, and pre-launch phases.
  • Participate in development of training curriculum and course content.
  • Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
  • Perform repairs on faulty GRC system/server hardware.
  • Write instructional materials (e.g., standard operating procedures, production manual) to provide detailed guidance to relevant portion of the workforce.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, identify, and resolve project issues, manage customer expectations and maintain ongoing and regular communications with the customer
  • Serve as a lead liaison to other teams in planning, coordination, development and deployment of multi-team enhancement or projects
  • Ensure delivery of project and enhancement requirements meet the requirements defined by the business customer
  • Ensure projects are delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW
  • Participate in business proposals, contracts, and RFP process
  • Work closely with dispersed resources throughout multiple cities and countries
  • Market and promote Templar Shield service offerings
  • Generate new and manage existing account relationships
  • Assist in recruiting of security, risk, and compliance professionals
  • Participate in the company practice development through thought leadership, attending industry conferences, tradeshows, and case studies
  • Understands role-based metrics and apply to meet expectations
  • Available during a standard workday 8-5 per client time zone unless otherwise specified
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of overall experience in delivery and sales support of IT, Cybersecurity and/or GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) solutions
  • Minimum of 3 years of GRC experience; Strong working experience in GRC technologies (Archer, ServiceNow, OpenPages, MetricStream, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical, and independent judgment
  • Skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Strong process flow and diagramming skills (Visio application).
  • Expertise in many of the Archer core solutions (Audit, Business Continuity, Compliance, Enterprise, Incident, Policy, Risk, Threat and Vendor Management) desired
  • RSA Archer and ServiceNow certifications preferred
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
