Job Description: Technical Architect IV
Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Technical Architect IV will design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable technical solutions across various domains. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system performance, focusing on cloud technologies, digital asset management, and integration strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and implement short and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining systems and software.
  • Ensure system architectures align with the Agency's objectives.
  • Design, create, and monitor the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
  • Review new and existing system designs and recommend improvements.
  • Negotiate and administer vendor and consultant contracts.
  • Consult with department heads and end-users to further infrastructure development.
  • Develop and execute test plans and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and recommend policies for standardizing systems.
  • Provide technical and functional support to the IT team, acting as a resource when issues are escalated.
  • Research new technologies and develop plans for investing in such systems.

  • 10-15 years of IT work experience, including 4+ years managing projects.
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
