The perfect candidate will be an important voice in creating different UI componentsand creating UI designs that are best suited for mobile and web.
In this role, you’ll be joining the product group in their UX sub-team. This teamcreates the core experiences and building blocks that make up their platform-wideuser experience and are the stewards for development of shared standards andcomponents. This includes their design system, dashboards and reporting, graphvisualization and case management, global navigation, and UI extensibility.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers anddevelopers, to understand project goals and user requirements.
• Design and iterate on user interface and experience prototypes, ensuring aseamless and intuitive user journey.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectivelycommunicate design concepts and functionality. Transform wireframes andconcepts into visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Conduct user research to gather insights and validate design decisions,incorporating feedback into iterative design processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design principles, and emerging technologies toenhance the overall user experience.
• Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity UI/UX designs, interactive prototypes, anddesign systems.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility of design solutions andmaintain design consistency throughout development.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems, style guides, andother documentation to support design consistency.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and collaborate with stakeholders tobalance business goals with user needs.
• Maintain and update design files, ensuring version control and organized designsystems in Figma.
• Effectively communicate design decisions and concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Collaborate with other designers to share insights, techniques, and contribute to acreative and innovative design culture.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data-driveninsights.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing designprocess, Figma proficiency and user-centered design.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure for creatinginteractive prototypes.
• Deep understanding of HCI principles, accessibility standards, user-centereddesign principles and usability best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles and an understanding oftechnical constraints, and the design handoff processes, including generating assetsfor development.
• In-depth knowledge of Figma features, components, and collaborationfunctionalities.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, adapting to projectrequirements and timelines.
• Experience with user research methodologies, including usability testing andpersona development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate insights intoactionable design improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex HCI concepts and designdecisions to diverse stakeholders.
