Job Overview:

The Engineering Lead (UI) is a senior-level role responsible for driving the design, development, and execution of enterprise-level UI solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality products that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise-level projects, leveraging innovative design and development methodologies to deliver robust UI solutions.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and key business stakeholders to enhance the quality of deliverables and ensure adherence to Agile best practices.
  • Define end-to-end business processes, high-level project scope, roadmaps, and operational requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, program sponsors, and first/second lines of defense (LODs).
  • Manage and mentor multiple development teams, overseeing performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions while ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies to achieve business and regulatory objectives in a structured and timely manner.
  • Prepare and present project updates, including risks, issues, and remediation plans, to senior management and business leaders.
  • Work closely with key technology subject matter experts (SMEs) to align business architecture with technical requirements.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, from design to implementation and performance optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with global technology standards and best practices.
  • Strategically manage vendor onboarding, engagement, and offboarding for the product portfolio.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of development experience, with 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong expertise in application design, development, and implementation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience managing and executing successful projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Angular core features, and micro front-end architectures.
  • Strong background in performance optimization.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of applications development.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
