Responsibilities:
5+ years of Hands-on experience in Glue, S3 and Lambda.
Hands on and Experience in Python / Pyspark language.
Hands on and Experience in AWS Cloud environment and the services below
9+ years of overall experience primarily in SQL Server
Hands on and Expertise in SQL querying and Data warehousing
Strong knowledge of SQL Queries and complex calculations
Ability to translate business questions and requirements.
Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction.
Responsible for designing enterprise data management framework, data security, and compliance.
Focus on designing and implementing data management frameworks and Data management, Infrastructure management, Security, Database migration & Data warehousing.
Should possess strong strategic thinking and data modelling skills, while data engineers often have more hands-on experience with programming languages, data pipelines, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
Where needed come up with explore solutions with newer technologies and build POCs for proposed solutions on AWS.
Responsible for designing frameworks and policies governing how data is collected, stored, and managed within an organization.
Ensure the overall suitability and fit of designs, schemas, and pipelines with to data coverage, functionality, scalability, and usage patterns to include workflow automation, analytics, asynchronous event notifications, and streaming.
Guide team to develop prototype, refine layouts and exports to stakeholder as per the requirements.
Experience in Design of data pipelines using cloud based ETL tools and using programming languages like Python.
Experienced in connecting with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, File sources and Saas Products like Salesforce and populating data into a cloud-based data warehouse like Snowflake.
Interact with end-users and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Develop data strategy and architect to meet client requirements.
Design conceptual and logical data models to support the business requirements.
