We are seeking a skilled and experienced ECC to S/4 HANA Technical Migration Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA migrations, with expertise in technical migration strategies, tools, and methodologies. This role involves working closely with our clients to ensure a smooth transition from ECC to S/4 HANA, optimizing system performance and leveraging new functionalities. Proficiency in ABAP development for both ECC and S/4 HANA is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
• Assessment and Planning:
• Conduct detailed assessments of existing SAP ECC environments to determine migration requirements.
• Develop comprehensive migration plans, including timelines, resources, and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align them with S/4 HANA capabilities.
• Technical Migration:
• Lead the technical migration from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA, including system conversion and data migration.
• Utilize tools like SAP Migration Cockpit, Software Update Manager (SUM), and Data Migration Server (DMS) to facilitate migration.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
• ABAP Development:
• Develop and enhance custom ABAP programs in both ECC and S/4 HANA environments.
• Optimize ABAP code to ensure efficient performance in S/4 HANA.
• Implement necessary code adjustments and enhancements for compatibility with S/4 HANA.
• Customization and Optimization:
• Customize and optimize S/4 HANA configurations to meet specific business needs.
• Implement performance tuning and system optimization strategies to enhance the functionality of S/4 HANA.
• Testing and Validation:
• Develop and execute test plans to validate the migration process and ensure successful transition.
• Identify and resolve issues related to data, performance, and integration during testing phases.
• Documentation and Training:
• Document migration processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Provide training and support to end-users and IT teams on new functionalities and processes in S/4 HANA.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance post-migration to ensure system stability and address any issues.
