Job Description:
The IT Sales Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our sales operations and IT department, ensuring that our technology solutions meet the strategic goals of the sales organization. This individual will be responsible for analyzing sales processes, gathering business requirements, and collaborating with IT and sales teams to implement systems that enhance productivity and support business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
Work closely with sales stakeholders to understand their processes, challenges, and objectives.
Conduct detailed analyses of current sales processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
Gather and document business requirements for new IT solutions or enhancements to existing systems through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
System Implementation and Optimization:
Collaborate with IT developers and vendors to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
Oversee the implementation of new sales systems or enhancements, ensuring they are aligned with business goals.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet the needs of sales teams and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of sales data across various IT systems.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide sales teams with actionable insights and performance metrics.
Support data-driven decision-making by providing in-depth analysis and reporting on sales performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as the liaison between the IT department and sales teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient and effective use of sales systems and tools.
Identify and escalate any issues or roadblocks that may impact the successful implementation of sales IT solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance sales processes through technology and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into sales IT strategies.
Develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, user guides, and training materials.
