Role: SAP BASIS with Security

Location: Remote

Exp: 15+

Detail Technical Expertise:

  • SAP BASIS:
    • Proven experience in SAP BASIS administration and support, including system installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
    • Deep understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture and components.
    • Experience with SAP system monitoring and performance optimization.
    • Proficiency in SAP transport management and change control processes.
  • SAP Security:
    • Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, roles, authorizations, and profiles.
    • Experience implementing and maintaining SAP security policies and procedures.
    • Familiarity with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools and processes is a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Platform Familiarity:
    • Experience working with NS2 cloud infrastructure is strongly preferred.
  • Security Protocols:
    • Hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAML, SSO, and Fortinet security solutions in an SAP environment.
    • Expertise in SSL certificate management and application for secure communication.
  • Additional Assets:
    • Knowledge of SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) would be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the SAP landscape, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Implement and enforce robust security measures to protect SAP systems and data, including role-based access controls, user management, and security audits.
  • Configure and maintain SAML, SSO, and Fortinet security solutions to ensure secure access and authentication.
  • Manage SSL certificates to maintain secure communication channels.
  • Provide technical support for SAP BRIM (if applicable), including system configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP with other systems and maintain a secure environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP security best practices and vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
