Excellent Job Opportunity for Scrum Master with Cloud Migration Position in NJ

Scrum Master – Cloud Migration 

Location: Iselin NJ (Remote till covid)

Responsibilities

  • Experience in Cloud migration projects (Azure preffered) 
  • Experience of applied SAFe, Scaling and Lean-Agile or similar processes and methodologies in a fast paced, mission critical, enterprise IT environment 
  • Experience with KPI dash boarding 
  • Experience with Business Analytics and BI Tools 
  • Manage, lead team in project development activities with a style that is flexible, yet firm 
  • Build strong working relationships and forms high performing cross-functional teams 
  • Learns software functionality, determines/manages project scope and project risk factors 
  • Create required documentation 
  • Manage and monitor scrum processes, coach teams on scrum/agile methodologies creating culture of empowerment and continuous improvement 
  • Conduct and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, demo, and retrospective meetings to ensure fast feedback and process/velocity improvement 
  • Lead team in removal of impediments 
  • Build trusting, safe environment for raising issues without fear and emphasis on problem-solving. 
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. 
  • Lead communication outside team with goal of excellent transparency 
  • Engage with product owners and other SMEs to gain deeper understanding of user needs and refine user studies 
  • Coordinate development dependencies spanning multiple teams and track team progress in JIRA, Rally etc. 
  • Escalate issues and identify risks to leadership & project stakeholders in a timely fashion 
  • Help define KPIs to monitor team performance and facilitate continuous improvement and increasing transparency 
  • Serve as a ‘change agent’ to evangelize Agile methodologies and principles in the organization 
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in scientific field 
  • Strong understanding of and experience in Scrum, Agile and/or Kanban methodologies. 
  • 5+ years Project Management and Scrum Master experience in a software environment 
  • Smartsheet, JAMA, JIRA experience a plus 

Certifications Desired, But Not Required (one of the following)

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) 
  • Certified Team Coach (CTC) 
  • Certified LeSS Practicioner 
  • Certified Scrum at Scale Practitioner 
  • Certified SAFe Agilist
