Position: Scrum Master
Location: Remote
Duration : 6+ Months
Description: Candidates require experience with ITSM/ServiceNow, Customer Service Management, Public Sector Digital Services, Scoped Application.
Serve as a facilitator for all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that each session is productive and focused on progression.
Actively identify and remove impediments to the team's progress, employing problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and streamline workflow.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading retrospectives and feedback sessions, encouraging team reflection and the adoption of best practices.
Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged throughout the development process.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to help the team consistently deliver high-quality products and solutions within established timelines.
Qualifications
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, and the capacity to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies with confidence and authority.
Familiarity with customer service management, public sector digital services, and scoped applications, contributing to a well-rounded skill set in various operational contexts.
Agile methodology certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM), with additional certifications in SAFe and Kanban being a plus.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and proficiency with Agile project management tools like Jira or Trello, enhancing the team's ability to track and manage work effectively.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, demonstrating a deep understanding of Agile Scrum principles and the ability to effectively guide teams.
