Immediate need for a talented Security Architect. This is a 05+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Tampa, FL(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $100 - $110/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  •  Key Skills:Cybersecurity, Risk Mitigation, Secure Code reviews.
  • Work independently with developers, system/network administrators, product owners, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks.
  • Perform security architecture design reviews of our products (primarily cloud).
  • Supply remediation guidance and recommendations to developers and administrators.
  • Create reference and use case architecture documentation.
  • Work with Product Development teams to help prioritize and validate urgency of mitigation of identified product vulnerabilities and security feature enhancement requests.
  • Define security best practices and standards and ensure Product Development teams understand them and receive pertinent annual secure coding training.
  • Mentor junior security engineers and architects to enhance their cybersecurity and architecture skills.
  • Maintain professional and technical process knowledge by keeping abreast of the changing security landscape within the technology industry and changes in cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Create white papers and present in industry conferences to display thought leadership in the security field.
  • Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.
