We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Business Analyst role.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs, designing systems that align with overall business strategies. Experienced in business process reengineering and leveraging new technologies to solve business challenges and enhance effectiveness. Proficient in industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering. Prepares solution options, identifies risks, and conducts financial analyses, including cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build assessments. Provides detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and the steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather and document user requirements, business processes, and system improvements.
- Analyze and document the impact of program policies on automated systems.
- Identify automation opportunities and assist in developing new systems.
- Prepare and review project management deliverables, including charters, plans, and test cases.
- Troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions.
- Provide quality assurance consultation and manage project scope and deployment.
- Maintain vendor relationships, review invoices, and ensure adherence to TDA policies.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and experience in business process improvement.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and define project scopes.
- Develop and deliver training on systems modules.
- Experience with complex project deliverables and quality assurance.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodology and user story analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis and project management (PMP certification preferred).
