Job Description :
We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst position.

Job Description:
Analysts leverage data to identify market and business trends, helping companies boost profits and efficiency. They can work directly for a company or as consultants, analyzing large data sets to detect trends and communicating these insights to the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to achieve objectives.
  • Create and maintain technical and design documentation.
  • Conduct system analysis and resolve problems.
  • Analyze software for configuration and performance tuning opportunities.
  • Develop and manage data and process models.
  • Apply modern testing methods to ensure application accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide technical support for testing and implementation.
  • Contribute to program design, coding, and test walk-through meetings, offering insights on technical standards and requirements.
  • Support State Portal DataMart reports, including defect repair, maintenance, and production operations.
  • Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of software issues. Develop and test code/scripts to enhance application reliability and performance.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Informatica 10.5.
  • Experience with report development in Cognos Analytics 11.1.
  • Knowledge of Unix cron and shell scripting.
  • Ability to write moderate to advanced SQL queries.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle 19.
  • Basic understanding of star schemas and dimensional data structures.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with TIERS or HHSC Programs and Types of Assistance.
