Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS).
- Monitor database performance, implement backup and recovery strategies, and optimize database queries and schemas for efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate controls, encryption, and data masking techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, and provide guidance on best practices for database management.
- Design and manage cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Client Cloud Storage) to support a variety of data types and access patterns.
- Implement data lifecycle management policies, including archiving, retention, and deletion strategies.
- Configure and optimize storage systems for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for storage solutions, using replication and cross-region backup strategies.
- Highly experienced with API Management, creating deployment and management of APIs
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using best practices and industry standards (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
- Implement API gateway solutions (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Apigee) to manage and secure API traffic.
- Monitor API performance, usage, and security, implementing rate limiting*** authentication, and authorization as needed.
- Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain comprehensive API documentation and support integration with various services and applications.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: - Experience with DevOps - AWS Code Pipeline, GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience working with IAM services in AWS – AWS IAM, Roles, Policies, Security Groups
- Experience with Cloud Monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus
- Experience with AWS Compute (EC2)
- Experience working with IAM, security tools and standards (PingID, OIDC, Oauth2.0)
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements across all cloud environments.
- Experience with Linux Systems, Package Managers, basic shell scripting, SSH
- Experience with IaC (AWS CDK)
- Comfortable with cloud networking and content delivery (AWS VPC, CloudFront)
- Implement and manage cloud networking solutions, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and VPNs.
- Familiar with serverless computing on AWS
