Job Description:
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security strategies to protect our telecom infrastructure against emerging threats.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop incident response strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement security solutions for telecom networks and infrastructure.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve security posture and incident response.
• Manage and monitor security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans for telecom systems.
• Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR).
• Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability scanning for telecom applications and networks.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
Requirements:
• Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on telecommunications.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency with telecom security protocols and systems.
o Expertise in security tools like firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
o Knowledge of network security, encryption, and threat management.
o Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure (e.g., IMS, VoIP, mobile networks).
o Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
o Familiarity with regulatory requirements (NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Certifications:
o CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
o CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
o CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional).
o CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to analyze complex security threats and provide actionable insights.
• Experience in managing security incidents and responses
