Overview:
We are seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to design and implement hardware-accelerated solutions for our client. This role requires expertise in FPGA design and architecture, with the ability to translate complex problems into efficient hardware solutions. You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle-from concept to production-including hardware selection, FPGA design, simulation, and testing.
Key Requirements:
- FPGA Development: Experience designing and implementing custom IP, rather than integrating pre-existing solutions.
- Timing Closure: Strong understanding of timing closure techniques and processes.
- Project Leadership: Prior experience leading FPGA-related projects is required.
- Networking Protocols: Familiarity with Ethernet and TCP/IP is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS is essential.
- Industry Experience: While prior trading or financial industry experience is not required, candidates with such backgrounds will be given priority.
Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in hardware development and FPGA engineering.
- Strong academic background preferred.
