Job Description :
Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Wichita, KS (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
End Client: To be disclosed
 
JD:
  • Create and Re-write of current manufacturing planning work instructions to include detailed installation, processes and procedures, specifications and quality inspections.
  • Customer specification interpretation
  • Updating the BOM to the current Engineering and planning manufacturing standards.
  • ROS Conversions which involves Creating Material Masters, Revise Material Masters, Viewing Display Material for Reference, Engineer Chance Master and using different TCodes
  • SAP Long Text must be reviewed by analyzing Engineering Drawings, Catia Models, OEM parts list and Standard Specification
  • Create and Review Graphic Work Instructions, assembly methods to support production flow of aircraft components
  • Using the established manufacturing planning process flow, sequence in a define routing order, develops Graphic Work Instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements and Bill Of Material
  • Communication with all teams (engineering, tooling, production, quality) to assure the product is completed correctly and on schedule to the customer
  • Experience in SAP
  • Experience in CATIA V5 (2D and 3D)
  • Blueprint reading ( 2D drawings)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
