Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of complex software applications for the extraction and standardization of criminal history information from PSRs.
- Design software architecture ensuring scalability, maintainability, and integration with Oracle Data Warehouse.
- Mentor and guide junior programmers and other team members.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications, ensuring high accuracy in text mining and data extraction processes.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements and timelines.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ and development tools like R for text extraction tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in software development and data extraction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in programming and software development.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with data handling and storage solutions, particularly Oracle databases.
