Senior QA/ BA for AXIOM Regulatory Reporting

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA/Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on regulatory reporting using the Axiom CV application. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and regulatory experts to ensure that our financial reports comply with relevant regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, writing test plans and test scripts, performing QA testing, and ensuring that our reporting processes meet all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Testing:
Develop and execute test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality and accuracy of regulatory reports generated by the Axiom CV application.
Perform system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that reports meet business and regulatory specifications.
Identify and document defects, work with development teams to resolve issues, and re-test fixes.
Ensure that all reports comply with internal and external audit requirements.
Perform data reconciliation and verification to ensure that regulatory reports are consistent with the underlying data.
Assist in the ROI / planning to automate test scripts for regression testing suite.
Requirements Analysis & Implementation Strategy:
Translate regulatory reporting requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
Work with stakeholders to ensure all use cases are articulated into the test plan and identify any requirement gaps.
Collaborate with the requirements and development teams in whiteboarding sessions to plan for the scope, implementation, work breakdown, and test strategy for the product delivery.
Documentation & Reporting:
Create user manuals, training materials, and knowledge base articles for end users.
Produce test reports and track the progress of testing phases, highlighting issues and risks.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, IT teams, and regulatory compliance experts to ensure the successful implementation of regulatory reporting solutions.
Communicate testing progress, issues, and solutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on new regulatory requirements and best practices in regulatory reporting.
Proactively identify opportunities for improving the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of regulatory reporting processes.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving post-implementation issues related to regulatory reporting.

Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or Regulatory Reporting Analyst.
Experience with regulatory reporting, financial reporting standards, and compliance regulations (e.g., Basel III, Solvency II, MiFID II, etc.).
Experience with the Axiom CV application or similar regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., Wolters Kluwer, Finastra) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of banking or financial industry data, including accounting, risk, and financial systems.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in Axiom CV or similar regulatory reporting tools is a plus.
Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Familiarity with software testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Selenium).
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex financial data and regulatory requirements.
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines to reporting processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
