Title: Senior ServiceNow ITAM Consultant
Type: Contract (6-12 months)

Summary
Experienced Senior ServiceNow Asset Management Process Consultant to lead and guide our organization through the implementation of ServiceNow's Asset Management modules. Deep expertise in ServiceNow and a proven track record of successfully leading complex IT Asset Management (ITAM) – both Hardware and Software and ITSM projects. This role is critical in ensuring that the ServiceNow implementation meets business objectives, aligns with industry best practices, and delivers measurable value.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation Leadership:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow Asset Management modules, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) as well as ITSM.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all asset management-related aspects of the ServiceNow implementation.
  • Develop a detailed implementation roadmap, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Process Design & Optimization:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document IT Asset Management processes that integrate seamlessly into the ServiceNow platform.
  • Ensure that all asset management processes adhere to industry best practices and are aligned with ITIL or other relevant frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
  • Work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and other business units to gather requirements and ensure that the ServiceNow implementation meets organizational needs.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and regular status meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the implementation process.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and any issues that arise.
  • ServiceNow Configuration & Customization:
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow Asset Management modules to meet specific business requirements, including workflows, forms, and reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data migration into the ServiceNow platform, particularly within the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor the effectiveness of asset management processes post-implementation.
  • Change Management & Training:
  • Develop and execute a change management plan to ensure a smooth transition to the new ServiceNow-based asset management processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, process owners, and administrators to ensure effective adoption of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and other documentation to support ongoing process management.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Post-implementation, lead efforts to continuously improve asset management processes within ServiceNow, ensuring they evolve with the organization's needs.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend future enhancements to the platform.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT Asset Management and ITSM with significant experience in implementing ServiceNow Asset Management solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading successful ServiceNow implementations, specifically in the ITAM and ITSM domain.
  • Extensive experience in process design, optimization, and management within ITSM frameworks.

Certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Asset Management or related certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or higher (preferably ITIL 4).

Skills:
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-phase implementations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including configuration, customization, and integration with other IT systems.
