Job Title: SENIOR SQL SERVER DBA
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects.
Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) solutions.
Work closely with application development project teams to ensure optimal application performance.
Optimize database performance through a number of techniques including but not limited to: indexing, query optimization, database design.
Participate in periodic High Availability / Disaster Recovery tests of critical systems.
Proactively monitor database performance, capacity planning and resource consumption.
Provide day to day support for databases and database applications.
Upgrade and patch DBMSs.
Ensure databases and database objects are backed up according to business requirements, and recovery procedures are tested and documented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
12+ plus years of experience in Database Management / Data Integration.
Proficient SQL Server DBMS.
Strong SSIS (ETL) skills.
Knowledge in data replication technologies (e.g. DTShare, CDC, SQL Replication, Attunity)
Excellent communication skills!!!
