Title: ServiceNow Developer

Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ServiceNow Developer to join the Service Management team.
Our ideal candidate will design, develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
They will need to support a project team, capture customer requirements, plan, design, and deliver based on platform best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Meet with practice owners and stakeholders identify requirements to design, configure, test, and deploy
  • Perform configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform
  • Participate in efforts to execute testing and document results
  • Willing to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, projects objectives, within predetermined timelines.)
  • Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed to the ServiceNow platform
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining the platform, with up-to-date patching, versioning, and server security updates.
  • Provide technical support to platform users to include troubleshooting, implementing enhancements, and writing knowledge articles
Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform and architecture best practices, including an understanding of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM (HAM & SAM), cloud management, charge back solutions, Automation Engine, App Engine, Reporting, Dashboards, ServiceNow Mobile, Performance Analytics, and other modules, connectors,
  • Extension experience with APIs, Integration Hub, connectors, and ServiceNow store apps
  • Direct experience working on customer development projects enterprise level organizations
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development
  • Experience and expertise in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery preferred
  • Software engineering skills with Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL) preferred
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.) and integration with ServiceNow
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Experience
  • 3-5 years' Experience developing on ServiceNow platform, including architecture design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • ServiceNow Developer Certification (desired )
