Position: ServiceNow Tech Lead
Location Allentown, PA
Remote with flexibility to travel onsite as needed
1 year Contract
Job Summary:
The ServiceNow Tech Lead will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and support of ServiceNow solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the effective deployment of ServiceNow modules. The Tech Lead will also mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes.
Project Management:
- Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple ServiceNow projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
Solution Design and Development:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design and develop custom applications, modules, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed during development.
Implementation and Deployment:
- Oversee the implementation of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and others.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, and UI policies.
- Manage the deployment of new releases and updates to the ServiceNow platform.
Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and optimize as necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, and Finance to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow solutions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and team members.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all ServiceNow developments and configurations.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Proven experience in leading a team of developers or technical professionals.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform and its modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integrations.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and practices.
- Java/.NET (VB.Net & C#, preferably, but if one or the other, no problem)/SQL Server/Oracle

Desirable Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
