Department Interactions:
- Internally: Production Planning, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, EHS&F, Equipment Repair, Transportation & Logistics, Product Management, Sales & Marketing, Tech Services.
- Externally: Logistics vendors, 3PL warehousing, material suppliers, contract manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders, including handling non-routine shipping requests from other departments. Ship domestic and international orders via small parcel and freight carriers, using carrier software and/or websites to create shipping documents.
- Store materials in appropriate locations based on required temperature conditions. Move products physically and in the ERP system, and identify potential warehouse space optimization improvements.
- Perform inventory transactions, identify non-conforming materials, and complete cycle counts as needed. Ensure accurate entry of part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, locations, document numbers, and quantities into the ERP system.
- Update the outbound shipment tracking report in Teams, as needed.
- Maintain certifications for Dangerous Goods and process these shipments as required.
- Serve as the primary backup for the Warehouse Receiving position when needed.
- Handle Equipment Repair processing and ensure completion of related work orders.
- Act as the primary backup for processing manufacturing work orders.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate changing priorities, including working overtime as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing and logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Job-Specific Competencies & Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems.
- Basic math, computer, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Team-oriented mindset with effective time-management skills.
