Must-Haves:
- Candidates must possess reliability engineering experience and an engineering degree.

Job Description:
Title: Reliability Engineer Reports To: Maintenance Reliability Manager Location: SCUPP, Carrollton, GA
JOB PURPOSE:
The Reliability Engineer champions the implementation of reliability best practices and evaluates new methods and technologies for continuous improvement in equipment reliability.
Key aspects of this position include:
- Identifying, evaluating, and implementing reliability improvement opportunities.
- Analyzing equipment history to identify improvement opportunities.
- Deploying root cause analysis methods and tools.
- Participating in new equipment selection and deployment processes.
- Supporting Autonomous Maintenance process.
- Promoting reliability strategies.
Major Duties:

- Serves as the facility RCA process champion and participates in failure analyses.
- Interacts with reliability engineers at other plants to share findings.
- Monitors equipment MTTR and MTBF performance.
- Examines defects and issues identified during PM and PdM activity.
- Participates in new and modified equipment design and installations.
- Assists in spare part reviews.
- Identifies risks of obsolescence.
- Introduces tools and techniques for preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Provides training and support of precision maintenance processes.
- Develops a world-class lubrication program.
- Supports autonomous activities.
- Drives proactivity performance.
- Ensures CMMS users have been trained.
Knowledge and Experience:
Individual must be a degreed engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on reliability and maintainability. The Reliability Engineer must possess a thorough knowledge of methodologies including FMECA, RCA, RCM, and TPM. Must be able to train others on reliability activities and facilitate analyses.
