Position: Snowflake Data Engineer with MDM + ETL (Matillion)

Location:Remote

 
 
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Snowflake Data Engineer with expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) using Enterworks (Winshuttle) and ETL tools like Matillion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of master data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Engineering & Architecture:

    • Design and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake and Matillion.
    • Develop and optimize ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the Snowflake environment.

  2. Master Data Management (MDM):

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage MDM solutions using Enterworks (Winshuttle).
    • Ensure master data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.
    • Create and maintain processes for data stewardship and master data lifecycle management.

  3. Data Analysis & Insights:

    • Develop and maintain datasets, views, and models to support business analytics and reporting.
    • Monitor data quality and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in master data and processed data.

  4. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand and fulfill data requirements.
    • Partner with IT teams to maintain the data architecture, storage, and infrastructure.

  5. Performance Optimization:

    • Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of Snowflake queries and ETL pipelines.
    • Implement best practices for data modeling and database design in Snowflake.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
    • Proven expertise in Snowflake and Matillion ETL.
    • Hands-on experience with Enterworks (Winshuttle) for MDM implementation and management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
