Job Description: | Socia Media Strategist Duration:7 months Remote Job Description Cognizant's Global Marketing Social Media team is looking for an experienced social media strategist and manager - highly skilled in channel strategy, content marketing, and end-to-end campaign activation and oversight. The strategist reports to the Head of Global Social Media and serves as a strategic advisor to key stakeholders across the organization. As a senior strategist, you'll partner closely with thought leadership, corporate communications, functional and vertical leaders, and brand/marketing to create and optimize engaging content for our social channels. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative spirit and experience working with multiple stakeholders and guiding creative resources to deliver innovative social formats that deliver on business goals. Responsibilities: Research current trends, audience needs and content gaps Deliver comprehensive content strategies for thought leadership, corporate initiatives, portfolio marketing, and news/announcements Conceptualize and oversee production of various content types for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and emerging platforms such as Threads Partner with the brand team to bring content to life in creative, innovative ways Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders Analyze and report on social media content and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to guide future strategy and tactics Support the broader social team by identifying content opportunities and contributing to an evergreen editorial calendar Requirements: 5+ years of experience in social media/content marketing Expertise in established and emerging social platforms and an understanding of who/how they are used and best practices across channels Strong copywriting/content writing skills Creative thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal skills Interest in spotting and experimenting with social media design trends Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment Ability to create compelling stories and connect content through a digital journey Self-starter and a keen ability to work on multiple projects as part of a team |
