Job Description :
The Software Engineer writes and maintains code within applications and systems to implement capabilities and features, improve performance and maintainability, while reducing technical debt in alignment with product and technology roadmaps. The Software Engineer plays a role in Agile planning, providing advice and guidance, and monitoring emerging trends.

Your Role:

  • Works with Process Owners and Business Analysts to understand the challenges that end users face in their day-to-day work and partner with them to design viable solutions.
  • Recommends viable solutions to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team and reduce technical debt.
  • Provides input into story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning.
  • Contributes to solution designs to address critical issues and complex problems.
  • Performs data analysis, coding, testing, integration and maintenance of applications.
  • Assists in reviewing the current technical architecture, including design patterns and development methodologies.
  • Understands technical architecture and writes software that is aligned with agreed upon standards.
  • Performs trouble-shooting efforts and investigations when necessary.
  • Provides ongoing support, and maintenance of deployed products.
  • Actively participates in the engineering community, staying up to date on new software technologies and best practices and shares insights with others in the organization.


Qualifications

  • Working experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, client-facing web applications, and major Internet-oriented applications and systems
  • Working experience realizing applications from conception and design to implementation and support
  • Exposure to full stack development within multiple technology stacks (e.g. Front-end: browser and device typically using common client-side technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Back-end: server, application, database using languages like Python, PHP and Ruby)
  • Working experience with application lifecycle methodologies (e.g. agile, iterative)
  • Working experience in analysis, design and programming
  • Working experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL
  • Ability to synthesize information quickly at a high level and makes decisions in ambiguous situations
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.


Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • UI UX experience including creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to illustrate design concepts and user interactions.
  • PYTHON Programming Experience
  • Exposure or basic understanding of Django framework
  • Automating releases using GITHUB ACTIONS or GITHUB
  • Experience designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and design principles.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as A e XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education


USD 70,700.00 - 106,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $70,700.00 - $106,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
