Job Description :

Sr. Data Engineer
Columbus, OH (look within OH who are interested in relocation)
Duration: 12 months
Position type: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days offsite)
Contract type: W2 contract


10+ year of exp. required
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Python or Java is required Must be good with Microservices and API's THE PREFERENCE TO HIRE IS PYTHON WITH DATA BACKGROUND, the java is secondary
  • There is lots of SQL involved, setting up data pipelines, etc Must be very strong in SQL
  • Will be working with data transformation tools moving data out of system of record, setting up pipeline Going to need some hands on ETL experience (They are using Informatica and Tableau Abinitio would be nice to have) Big plus to have Tableau, will get preference
  • Must be familiar with Data Warehousing Concepts
  • AWS cloud will be needed
  • Spark/Scala experience would be a great add for this team Will be using Spark on Cloud
Working with Containers/Kubernetes
