Role: Sr. Network Engineer (Network Security)
Location: (Miami, FL) 10-15% travel
Job Summary:
This role will support the global team and any network security projects that fall under this team. The Sr. Network Engineer should have a network, security, design, and architecture background. Skills they will need include routing, switching, and leading projects. Security background should include firewall experience with any of the firewalls (palo alto, cisco, juniper). Hands on experience preferred. Systems they will be working with includes ESXi, vMotion, and computing.
Must-Haves:
- 5-10 yrs experience - Network security systems engineering / administration background
- Network Security: Knowledge of access control models and network security measures
- Network Devices: Experience with configuring and installing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Specific systems they will be working with includes ESXi, vMotion, and computing.
- Network and System Design
- Azure Cloud preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education.
Good to have:
- Hands on experience
- Professional Certifications: Such as CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or CCDP (Cisco Certified Design Professional)
