Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies to lead and manage complex projects in a dynamic environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, adept at handling project dynamics and integrations, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Agile Leadership:
- Implement and advocate Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Mentor and guide team members on Agile best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to manage expectations and provide status updates.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project success.
- Address and resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly.
- Integration Management:
- Oversee the integration of various project components, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation.
- Coordinate with technical teams to manage system integrations and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Ensure compliance with integration standards and best practices.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to address emerging risks and issues.
- Maintain comprehensive risk registers and documentation.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
- Implement quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct project reviews and post-mortems to capture lessons learned and best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and deliver regular project reports, presentations, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records, including meeting minutes, action items, and change logs.
- Use project management tools and software for tracking and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP certification is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in an Agile environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or similar.
- Ability to travel 20-30% of the time as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Additional Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
- Experience with digital transformation projects and technology integrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
