Job Description

• Test Planning:
  • Develop an enterprise/cross-project/program testing strategy for digital transformation efforts, including explanation on how the strategy aligns with the organizationa^ TMs overall transformation goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive testing plans that outline the scope, objectives, resources, and timelines for testing activities.
  • Identify and define different testing types (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing). Include testing levels (e.g., unit, component, system, user acceptance testing) and their roles in the development life cycle. Ensure that test cases cover all aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, security, and usability where appropriate.
  • Assist in establishing guidelines for executing test cases, including test data preparation and execution environments.
  • Establish benchmarks for success and monitor progress against these benchmarks.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders (testing teams, development teams, project managers, other stakeholders).
  • Identify testing resources requirements, tools, and environments.

• Test Metrics Development and Reporting:
  • Define key testing metrics aligned with project goals and quality standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing processes, test cases, and results. Ensure that documentation is organized, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track testing progress, identify trends, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on testing status, issues, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Issue Tracking and Management:
  • Monitor and manage testing progress, addressing issues and blockers as they arise.
  • Implement and manage a repeatable process and system for tracking and prioritizing defects and issues identified during testing.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
  • Actively participate in post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify, document and escalate potential risks related to testing activities.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans for addressing testing-related risks.
