Job Title: Sr. Salesforce Service Cloud Tester

Location: Downtown Dallas, TX (3 days/week ONSITE)

A Salesforce Quality Analyst is a crucial part of the team that ensures the functionality and efficiency of our Salesforce systems. To excel in this role, a Salesforce Quality Analyst should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, experience with test automation frameworks, and proficiency in Salesforce technologies. They should also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Testing: One of the primary responsibilities is to develop and implement testing strategies for Salesforce systems. Design and execute test scripts, document test results, and ensure the functionality of the system.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that all Salesforce operations are working as intended, ensuring the quality of the system. regularly monitor system performance and report on any issues.
  • Collaboration: Quality Analysts work closely with the development team to understand the changes being made to the system and ensure these changes don't negatively impact the system's performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Responsible for identifying, tracking, and documenting any bugs or issues within the Salesforce system. Work with the development team to troubleshoot and rectify these issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review and analyze the effectiveness of current testing strategies. Make recommendations for process improvements to enhance the system's quality and efficiency.
  • Documentation:  Maintain detailed documentation of the testing process, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented. This documentation aids in future troubleshooting and system improvements.
  • Training:  Often conduct training sessions for other team members, enhancing their understanding of the system and its functionalities.
  • Process Improvement:  Continually seek to improve testing and quality assurance processes, making recommendations for enhancements where necessary.

What are the typical qualifications?

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is often preferred. However, relevant experience and certifications may sometimes compensate for the lack of formal education.
  • Salesforce Certifications: A Salesforce certification, such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder, demonstrates a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities and Salesforce service cloud certification.
  • Experience Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role in an Agile environment is essential. Experience with Salesforce projects or technologies is highly beneficial.
  • Agile Mindset: A strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, along with the ability to adapt and apply them to different situations is crucial, Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for effectively collaborating with team members
  • Problem-solving Skills: Being able to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and work with dev teams to resolve
