Job Title : Business Analyst (Mid-Level)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst (Mid-Level) to join our client’s Global Compliance and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) team. This role will support sustainability initiatives by analyzing business processes, deriving IT requirements, and contributing to the development of solutions that promote environmental responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with additional experience in product ownership, agile methodologies, and sustainability-related projects. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work with a leading organization committed to ESG practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis:
- Analyze complex cross-functional business processes.
- Define business and functional requirements through Features and User Stories.
- Create deliverables such as business process maps, data flow diagrams, user journey maps, and use case scenarios.
- Agile Support:
- Participate in backlog refinement, including documentation, estimation, and testing considerations.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Scrum Teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a functional SME for both business stakeholders and the IT Scrum Team.
- Communicate effectively with senior business stakeholders to prioritize needs and evaluate business solutions.
- Sustainability Focus:
- Support the analysis of current and future state facility discussions related to sustainability.
- Contribute to the development of solutions that track and report progress on sustainability goals.

Required Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in IT Business Analysis.
- Strong proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe preferred).
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Knowledge of the IT Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with environmental sustainability processes and technologies.
- Background in Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe), including Program Increment (PI) Planning.
- Experience in product ownership tasks, such as translating requirements into user stories.
- Knowledge of SaaS application implementations.
