Job Description :
APN Consulting has an immediate need for a direct client requirement:
Role: Tech Lead (Java)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Description:
  • Develop cutting-edge web applications that perform across all platforms.
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment with cross-functional teams on projects Clearly and concisely communicate highly technical challenges and solutions to project team
  • Maintain high standard of quality as you creatively and strategically problem assist the project team to solve throughout the product delivery process.
  • Build solid back-end architectures that integrate easily with other systems and technologies?Work closely with other disciplines (Front-end, UX, Design, QA)

Required:
  • 4+ years building modern web applications/sites in a professional environment
  • Minimum of 4 years in semantic HTML5 and CSS3, and comfortable with preprocessors
  • Minimum of 4 years with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
  • At least 1 year of experience with server-side scripting languages (PHP, Python, Ruby, etc)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:
  • Experience with version control, preferably Git Experience with techniques and methodologies around responsive design and development
  • Ability to work independently, with supervision and guidance
  • Experience customizing Content Management Systems Experience administering a LAMP-based server
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Background in user experience and/or design Involvement in open source projects
