Job Role: Technical Business Analyst/Middle Office

Location: NYC

Duration: Long-Term

ALL ROLES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to quickly learn and map business processes to systems & capabilities.

Perform business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, detailed data analysis, data mapping and testing while collaborating with business teams.

Past working experience in Investment Operations domain. Should be proficient in at least one Investment Operations domain (Trade management, Derivatives, IBOR)

Familiarity with diverse asset classes (Equity/Fixed Income/FX/Derivatives (Cleared/Bilateral) & Cash (TA, Management Fees)

Ability to facilitate product development projects from start to finish, including gathering/documenting requirements, communicating with development team, and overseeing/assisting with testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

Experience participating in daily stand-ups and scrum sessions with the development teams. (Agile experience nice to have)

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and document business requirements for middle office corporate action initiatives and related workflows.

Leverage expertise in the PSS application to design, test, and optimize custody middle office solutions.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of corporate action event and election custody data and configurations.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including agile initiatives, epics and stories with process flow diagrams.

Validate development through rigorous testing and resolve any discrepancies.

Act as a liaison between client, business stakeholders and technology teams to align custody operations with system enhancements.

Support impact analysis, issue resolution, and change management processes related to custody workflows.

Provide recommendations to improve middle office corporate actions custody accuracy and efficiency for events and elections.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in financial services, focusing on middle office or custody corporate action event and election processing.

Hands-on experience with middle office custody corporate action processing and related operational workflows.

Demonstrated expertise with the PSS application from TSG.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.

Proficiency in SQL for querying and data validation.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences and technical developers.

Expertise with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience implementing or optimizing custody workflows in middle office services.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements impacting custody operations.

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in financial services.
